Dermal fillers are injectable treatments used to enhance facial features and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. These fillers are made of a variety of different substances, such as hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, and poly-L-lactic acid, and are injected directly into the skin to add volume and smooth out wrinkles and folds. Dermal fillers can be used to plump up lips, enhance cheekbones, and smooth out wrinkles around the mouth and eyes. The treatment is generally quick and relatively painless, and the results are often immediate and can last for several months to a couple of years depending on the type of filler used. We use popular brands such as Juvederm, Radiesse, and Belotero. As a medical professional with an injectable license, I have a medical director who oversees my administration of Dermal Filler injections to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the treatment for my patients.
